What to wear
To start West Coast Swing you don't need to buy any professional shoes or special outfits. Come in whatever you're comfortable moving in - jeans and a shirt, straight from work or athleisure wear.
We recommend shoes that don't have too much grip so you are able to spin with ease. West Coast Swing is not normally danced in high heels so any flat shoes or sneakers are fine for beginners.
Extras
Dancing is a close contact sport so please ensure that good hygiene practices are followed (that's a shower, deodorant and washed hands).
Additionally please be considerate that some dancers have allergies so avoid strongly scented perfumes, moisturisers, aftershave etc
There is a small kitchen at the studio but feel free to bring your own water bottle to fill.
