Biography
Having begun his love of partner dance with Salsa, Tristan has since found West Coast Swing and deeply dived into its complexity. Starting Precision Swing in 2019, Tristan brings a systematised way of learning and teaching the dance to his students.
Coming to dance as an adult, he uses reflections on his own dance journey for inspiration on how he can grow the next generation of West Coast Swing dancers. The growth of the dance in Australia is one of the things he is most passionate about, hoping to help more people find and enjoy West Coast Swing. He actively travels to WCS events around Australia to compete, and loves to see the dance community thrive. He even still makes time to dance multiple other styles to keep his dance horizons broad.
