THE JOURNEY OF LEARNING DANCE
When you come to our dance classes, we want to give you a pleasant guide to get dancing as quickly as possible. But we also work to set you up so that you can continually build on what you learn – we want you to see your improvement as you go, but also help guide you to improve.
DO I NEED TO BRING A PARTNER?
No need – throughout our classes we rotate partners so you will get a change to meet and dance with everyone.
WHAT DO I WEAR TO CLASSS
Whatever you feel comfortable moving in. Sportswear, jeans and a T-shirt, or go all out and dress up!
We recommend shoes that do not have too much grip, generally WCS is not danced in high heels, so any flat shoe or sneaker is fine until you are ready to invest in some industry designed dance shoes
DO I LEAD OR FOLLOW
You choose!
Traditionally males lead and females follow. However, these day many, if not mos, WCS dances dance both roles. Although you may want to focus on one role, each class you will be able to choose which role you would like to dance for that class. During practice, you can switch as many times as you want!
